Dr. Ron Pavkovich  is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. The manual therapy skills obtained through his extensive training allow him to provide the best in therapeutic care, which will help to keep you functioning optimally.

Dr. Pavkovich was appointed to the Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy by Gov. Matt Bevin in January 2018, and will serve on the Board until December 2021.  He is eager to serve the profession and the community through promoting Physical Therapy scope of practice to further assist Kentuckians on managing painful conditions through Physical Therapy.

Regarding the rarity of Fellowship- trained PT’s, there are only approximately 1000 Fellowship-trained PT’s (out of approx. 205,000 licensed PT’s) in the USA.

Dr. Pavkovich and his wife purchased Advantage Osteopractic Physical Therapy in October of 2012.  They have since changed the  name to “Advantage Osteopractic Physical Therapy”, which better reflects the level of specialization that Osteopractic Physical Therapists possess.  They have risen in the ranks to 2 of the most respected PT’s in central Kentucky.

Dr. Pavkovich believes non-surgical management of neuro-musculoskeletal conditions is key in returning you back to a healthy lifestyle. He and his wife are the proud parents of twins and triplets, and attend Southland Christian Church. They have lived in Lexington for over 10 years and, as such are honored to be able to provide the best in care.
